google browser in preproduction

Updated yet again: Well, it seems official that Google is not interested in building a browser. (via Kottke)

The comments actually made me laugh out loud. I love it when that happens. Instead of actually typing LOL, I laughed.

More evidence of a Google Browser | Kottke.org

Yes! I love Google and just about everything that they stand for. I can't wait to see what they might put out in the form of a browser. Jason Kottke's got the scoop (as he did with the Ken Jennings bombshell). At any rate, Google in browser form would be awesome.

my google desktop first impressions

Google Desktop | Kottke

All I can say is "WOW!". Download this piece of software today. Once all your files on your computer are indexed, you have an unbelievably efficient place to search for all of your files. Privacy issues? Personally, I don't really care that much. I believe that this technology only helps to make our lives more efficient. If Google needs information from me, well I wish that they would ask first. The same issues came up when they launched GMail.

Speaking of which...anyone need a gmail invite?

netflix and tivo are teaming up, officially speaking

Netflix, Tivo to Develop Internet Movie Product | PVRblog

For me, this is just another way to gain more weight. I'm already slightly overweight. Do I really need to be this fat?

I think this is exciting. I'm always pleased to learn about new technology that would allow a seemless integration of all digital devices to please our endless desire for instant gratification. I think it's awesome.

dear search diary...

A9's Search Diary | Jeremy Zawodny

Dear Diary,

Please track my search history and display product information, I mean my "notes" about web pages that I visit.

Maybe someone that knows a little bit more about search engine technology would be able to tell me how A9 beats Google. I definitely would not be able to figure it out on my own.
